The Bala Bala Type 2 is a prefabricated accommodation structure developed through ongoing work with NGOs and communities in West Arnhem Land.
Manufactured in on-site and in Darwin, the building is designed for remote installation, tropical conditions and long-term durability. The project has evolved through multiple iterations, refining both construction methods and performance in use.
